Principal's Corner

CJ Wilder- Principal

I am honored to serve in my eighth year at FCMS as Principal here at the CUB!!! I first began teaching French in 2001. For 12 years, I taught at the high school level and I am fully enjoying my new journey to help students and teachers achieve their full potential at the middle school level.

I received my BS.Ed. in Foreign Language Education from the University of Georgia in 2001. After years of teaching and coaching, I returned to UGA and completed my Master's in Foreign Language Education in 2010. Currently, I am completing my doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Georgia.

My philosophy for teaching is simple...REACH EVERY CHILD. I wholeheartedly believe that every child deserves an education specifically tailored to their specific needs. For me, differentiation, scaffolding, and TEACHnology are key components to a 21st century education, and through collaboration, together WE will achieve more!

My wife, Elaine, teaches high school English in Jefferson, Georgia. We have one daughter, Kinsey, who is in 7th grade. We live in Jefferson, Georgia.
